FACTION MANAGEMENT
Introduction
In this topic we will discuss the process of becoming an approved official or unofficial faction, and what the differences are between approved and unapproved factions.
Government Factions
These factions are set up via the script and consist of groups which are essential to the theme of the server. Law Enforcement, Government, Medical and others have unique functions within the script that allow them access to extra commands and features.
Official Legal Factions
An official faction is a faction that has access to special commands and features but perform outside of the Government environment. These factions could consist of private security, highway maintenance services, recovery mechanics or news and media groups.
These factions are created by the server administration, and a suitable faction leader is chosen to run it.
Official Illegal Factions
These factions are the back-bone of illegal activity on the server. They are responsible for the flow of guns and drugs on the server, and have access to supplier points which allow them to stock guns and seeds in their inventory. There can only be a limited number of Official Illegal Factions at a time.
The Faction Journey
Unofficial Factions
Unofficial Factions are created by the community, and do not have access to any scripts or features. This could be a group of truckers who like to convoy together, or a group of motorcycle hooligans spreading chaos around the county. This is the start of the faction journey, in order to be recognised as an Unofficial Faction, you need to create a faction thread, and update it actively. This is a showcase of your ability to roleplay, and to lead.
Organisation (Approved Unofficial Faction)
Unofficial Factions who consistently update their faction thread, and show consistent activity on the server may qualify to become an Approved Unofficial Faction, or better known as an Organisation.
An Organisation acts like a business but doesn't necessarily earn money via the script. For example, an Unofficial Faction who roleplays as a trucker company, may be awarded this status, and have access to a faction interior, vehicles, and other faction perks such as being able to invite, set ranks and have a faction locker with faction skins and duty status. Unfortunately, gangs do not have the ability to become an Organisation, but that doesn't necessarily mean an Organisation has to be completely legal.
How to apply to become an Organisation
After two months of activity from posting your first faction thread, you will need to fill out
this form (Coming soon). The faction team will discuss your application and look back at any notes and records from your Unofficial Faction, and decide whether or not you will be accepted.
We wish everybody the best of luck with their faction journey!
